NAME HERE

Her full name is Prudence Melinda Halliwell. After the birth of her niece, PJ, Piper wasn't going to name her own daughter Prudence but ended up doing so anyways after her older sister came to her in a dream after she had her little girl. Melinda, her middle name, was after the Warren witch who started it all and who also Piper delivered into the world on All Hallow's Eve all those years ago. Halliwell in respect to her mother's surname which is widely known in the magical world. Magical beings either love or fear her last name. Since her cousin sometimes goes by Prudence or Prue she usually only answers to Melinda or Mel, with only her parents being allowed to call her Prudence. Mel also knows that her brothers will also have their own nicknames for her. Which if, depending on her mood, Melinda would or wouldn't mind them calling her those nicknames.

AGE HERE

Prudence Melinda Halliwell is twenty-three years old even though she gets told that she looks like she could be at least eighteen years old. She was born at San Fransisco Memorial Hospital, much like her older brother Chris and her other family members that weren't born at the Halliwell Manor, and on December 25, 2007. Melinda was born in the very early morning on Christmas Day because Piper and Leo had been at the hospital since Christmas Eve in labor while the two older boys were at Grandpa's house. Mel was a late baby as she spent an extra three weeks in her mom. Leo and Piper were quite happy when Melinda was born as she didn't prove to be any problem at all during the entire pregnancy and they were quite happy to have at least one witch in their family. The two parents were also happy that they finally had the baby girl that Piper saw when she, Prue, and Phoebe went to the future of 2009 to see what Phoebe did to Cal Greene to make her be burned at the stake.

SEXUALITY HERE

Melinda is a heterosexual female. That means that she only likes the males. Sorry to all the females that swing that way. She doesn't mind gay people as she has some of them as her friends but she just doesn't swing that way at all. She got her first boyfriend at the age of thirteen years old and that lasted until she was almost fourteen when she caught him cheating on her with her best friend at the time. She has had some boyfriends after that but not a whole lot. She is currently single right know even though she is crushing on someone but she doesn't know how to tell him at all. The few people that Melinda has dated where mortals but she wouldn't mind dating a person that is magical either.

RACE HERE

Prudence Melinda Halliwell is just a normal witch. Just like her very own mother, her deceased namesake aunt Prue, and her aunt Phoebe. Along with many other of her ancestors before her. Melinda doesn't mind being a witch as it makes her different from her brothers and her many cousins. As they are all hybrids while she isn't. She loves just being a witch as she thinks that it would be good for her and her family to keep at least one plain witch in it. Melinda is also the last third of the Power of Three. Well at least the new ones. Her two older brothers, Wyatt and Chris, are the first half of the Power of Three.

ACTIVE POWERS

• Molecular Immobilization - the ability to slow down molecules to the point where they move so slowly that objects and people appear completely motionless. Melinda of course got this power from her mom and grandma Patty. This power came out when she was three years old as she was playing out in the backyard of the Halliwell Manor and she got scared when she saw a demon shimmer into the backyard. She put up her hands like her mom usually does and flicked her wrists when the demon just froze. Though the demon unfroze and her brothers were able to defeat the demon with the help of Piper of course. She doesn't mind this power as she is able to do a lot of the same things that her mom is able to do with this power. Though she isn't strong enough to freeze a high level demon..yet. Especially since her freeze lasts a lot longer than what it was.
• Selective Freezing- this ability is a subpower of her molecular immobilization power. Melinda will be able to unfreeze certain parts or things, within the frozen area. The way that Melinda is able to do this is by pointing a finger, moving her head, or moving her hand at the certain part of the body. Also with this ability she will be able to freeze another section of things. So if someone walks in on Melinda she will be able to freeze them as well without unfreezing the whole room. She can also do this by pointing a finger, moving her head, or moving her hand to freeze that one person.

[li]Telepathy - the ability to read and broadcast the thoughts of oneself and others. Melinda got this power from her dad's side when he was still a whitelighter. This is really the only whitelighter power from her dad that she really got. She started to get this power on the day that she turned sixteen years old which wasn't really a good thing as she knew what she was getting for her birthday and Christmas presents. And was the only reason why she ended up going to Magic School full time. She is pretty good at this power now as she is able to replicate another person's power, channel the spells of another, cause pain to another (well sort of), and be able to tell if a person is good or evil. She does get a small headache though from using this power for a bit longer than what she is used to. Melinda doesn't mind as it has helped her and her brothers and her family members out a whole lot.[/li]

• Telepathic Channeling- this ability is the first subpower of her telepathy power. Melinda is able to enter other people's minds and channel their spells while they are being casted and reap the benefits of the magic. Melinda is able to do this but she knows better than to do it.
• Telepathic Replication- this ability is the second subpower of her telepathy power. Melinda is able to temporarily replicate the abilities of other beings and reproduce and use them at will by tapping into their minds. Melinda is again able to do this but she knows better than to do this. Especially after her dad told her the story about the telepath student at Magic School that used his power this way. She will only use this part if she truly needs to.
• Telepathic Pain Inducement- this ability is the third and last subpower of her telepathy power that she has brought to life recently. Melinda is able to induce excruciatingly mental pain into the mind of another by merely concentrating on them. Melinda doesn't really like using this part of her power at all as she doesn't like to use it that way at all. She doesn't like to cause pain unless she really needs to.

[li]Premonitions- the ability to see and experience events from the past, present, and future. Melinda got this power from her aunt Phoebe Halliwell. She also got this power thanks to her also being one of the Power of Three. She is able to call her visions know but that took about nine months for her to do. She was able to do it thanks to her aunt Phoebe's help. She sort of loves this ability and sort of not. She is able to do most of the things that her aunt is able to do with this power as well.[/li]

• Enhanced Intuition- this is the first subpower of Melinda's power of premonition. She can sense and predict situations before they happen. Which is always a good thing.
• Astral Premonition- this is the second subpower of Melinda's power of premonition. She can project her consciousness into a future or past event, either as a physical astral form, through the body of one's future-self, or through the body/memory of a past being.
• Sharing Visions- this is the third subpower of Melinda's power of premonition. She can share visions with other psychics though she can't exactly do that yet.
• Psychic Echos- this is the fourth subpower of Melinda's power of premonition. She hasn't had this happen to her yet.

INACTIVE POWERS

• Spell Casting- the ability to cast magical spells and perform rituals. It is one of the three basic powers possessed by Witches and Warlocks, the others being Scrying and Potion Making. She likes this basic power but not so much really as she doesn't really like to use it.
• Scrying- the magical ability to find a person or an object through the use of a crystal and a map. It is one of the three basic abilities possessed by Witches and Warlocks. Melinda uses this whenever she and her brothers need to. She doesn't mind doing this even if sometimes her hand and arm hurts from moving the crystal around the map of the city.
• Potion Making- the power to brew potions with magical properties. It is one of the three basic powers possessed by Witches and Warlocks (the others being Spell Casting and Scrying), as well as several other magical beings, including Witch practitioners. Melinda much like her mom is very good at this. She loves to cook much like her mom but she doesn't like to be compared to her at all. She has been told that she could probably surpass her mom at this one day as she has been making potions a lot for her and her brothers.
• High Resistance- the ability to be resistant to attacks by weapons and various magical powers and magic from other magical beings. This trait allows users to survive attacks that are otherwise lethal. It also grants users protection against their own powers. If it wasn't for Melinda having this power she would probably be dead by know from all the demon attacks that she has gone through while living at the Halliwell Manor.
• The Power of Three- the collective power of Melinda and her two brothers which enhances their powers. (if this isn't right then I would get rid of it. Just let me know.)

PLAYBY

People say that Melinda reminds them of the younger version of Shelly Hennig. An actress that played a witch in the short lived television show called the Secret Circle. Mel doesn't see it at all though.

BASICS

Melinda stands up to her tallest height of five feet and eight inches. She also weighs around one hundred and twenty-one pounds. Mel's body build is of an slim and athletic one. She loves her body very much as she tries to keep active with running when she isn't running away from demons. She also eats healthy as well so she isn't running for nothing. She likes her body because she has worked hard on it and she loves her height since she has gotten it from her father and grandfather. Who are both still taller than her. Melinda also has an hourglass figure sort of but she still loves her figure as well. Her skin type is that of a normal one because that's the same as her parents. She likes her skin type the way that she loves very much. It also mostly depends on how much time she has spent in the sun with how her skin color changes. She doesn't have any tattoos even though she wouldn't mind getting one but she doesn't mind not having one at all. She also has her ears pierced and belly button pierced. Though no one knows about her belly button at all. Not even her brothers who mostly tell her everything.

FACIAL FEATURES

First things first. Melinda's face shape is sort of like an oval and it's very pretty. Melinda's face shape is definitely different than all of her family members and that is what she loves about it. Well not only love but also worries about where she gets her face shape from. Even though a whole lot of people have told her that she reminds them of the way her mom looked when she was younger, the mom that is, which kind of upsets Melinda some. Second thing is Melinda's eyebrows. Her eyebrows are a dark brown color that she loves a lot. Sure her brother's have the same color on their eyebrows but she likes it since they are a Halliwell trait that she loves a whole lot. She has also taken care of her dark brown eyebrows but not too bad that they look super thin. They are pretty much normal size and she always plucks a hair or two, that is out of place, now and again. Next up is Melinda's eyes. Her eyes are a rich brown color much like most of her family members. Her eyes are a normal shape but they are sort of in between her mother and father's shape of eyes. She doesn't mind that at all as she loves her dad and considers that as a compliment.

Next up is Melinda's nose. Melinda likes her nose as it's just like her fathers nose and she loves it very much. Melinda's lips are also once again in between the sizes of her parents lips. She doesn't mind that at all as she does like to think that she has some of her in her more than her mother. Melinda does, really does, like to think that she has more of Leo Wyatt in her looks and some of her personality than she does her mom since people has always told her since she was a little girl how much she reminds them, in her looks, of her mom. The one thing that Melinda loves that she has gotten from her mom is her long dark brown hair. Melinda has natural wavy dark brown hair that she just loves oh so much. When Melinda feels like it, she would straighten her hair but she doesn't do it all that much. Her hair, straightened and not straightened, goes at least almost up to her stomach. She also either puts her hair up into a ponytail when it's straightened or wavy. Though it is mostly down. She tries to change it up whenever she can. She is also growing out her bangs while having her hair cut into layers so that the thickness of it doesn't bother her on hot days. Melinda has a scar, a very light one, on the bottom of her chin near her throat from a demon holding a knife there when she was younger.

CLOTHING

Melinda's clothing style has a variety of clothes but all of her clothes are equally loved by Melinda. In Melinda's closet you well probably see her shirts, blouses (dress/formal shirts), dresses, sweatshirts, and jackets. Probably some hats too but she doesn't really wear those that much. Oh and her shoes are in the closet as well. Now let's talk about her shirts first. These are in a wide range. She has long-sleeved shirts, regular sleeved shirts, flannel shirts, tank tops, and halter tops. For her blouses, which are just dress and formal shirts, those are just that. Shirts that she considers to be dressy and for a night out into town with some of her friends like any normal twenty-three year old young woman would do. The third thing that Melinda has in her closet is dresses. She doesn't have a lot of these. Just sundresses and dresses that one would wear to a party or even after a football game. But yeah that is all the dresses she has. Well and one for like a date kind of think. Melinda likes having sweatshirts around as they are an easy thing to grab and out on. She also has hoodies which she still considers as a sweatshirt. For jackets she has some of those as well. She has one gray leather jacket that she likes but doesn't wear all that often. She also has long jackets and normal size jackets. It mostly depends on her mood and if she even wants to wear a jacket that day. Melinda actually has about two hats. A hat that is the same type as an army hat but not really and a beanie. She doesn't like to wear hats that often because she doesn't really want to mess up her hair with wearing a hat. Plus it gets in the way at times with demon hunting or with a surprise demon attack. Now the last thing in Melinda's closet is her shoes. She, thankfully, is not as bad as her mom with how many shoes she has. That is a good thing to not be like since her mom has a lot of shoes. The shoes she does have are her high heeled boots, high heels, running shoes, and normal shoes. She likes having a variety with her shoes but while not having a whole lot. She also has two pairs of slippers but that's it. One for indoor usage and the other for outdoor usage.

Melinda also has one more place filled with clothes. Which would be her dresser. Her dresser only has three drawers. The first one contains all of her undergarments in that drawer along with her socks. She also doesn't keep her diary in her dresser drawers either. Though she probably wouldn't tell you where she has hidden it either. In Melinda's middle drawer she has all of her pajamas in there. She has at least four different colored flannel pajama bottoms along with one pair of pajama shorts, and a bunch of other pajama bottoms. Now for tops she has a bunch of old shirts that she wears along with a pajama shirt that came with her bottoms. Even though at times Melinda only wears like an old shirt from her dad to bed if she is feeling entirely too tired to also pick out a pair of bottoms as well. In her last dresser drawer is where Melinda keeps all of her bottoms. Well besides her pajama bottoms. In this drawer Melinda has her jeans, skirts, shorts, and capris. She loves to wear skirts even if they aren't exactly ideal if a demon attacks which is a reason why she is sometimes afraid of doing it. Though she does when she is on a date or something. She mostly wears jeans, shorts, and capris as she finds those to be the most helpful to her when she is in a surprise demon attack or when she is just running late to school. Oh and she also keeps her belts in her top drawer as well. Melinda also tries to match her clothes for the day with how the weather is like. Which is always a good thing for this young witch. Even if most of the time Melinda wears whatever she feels like if she is being too stubborn to look out her window or read the newspaper that morning to check before getting herself dressed.

Melinda, at times, styles her hair with what she is wearing if she has the time to do so in the mornings. Though she is known to carry a hair tie on her wrist in case she needs it. Especially if she is scheduled to work that day at her mom's restaurant. Melinda likes to do different stuff with her hair but not all the time since demon fighting could ruin her hair. Melinda also wears makeup but not a whole lot as she likes to keep her pores good and plus wearing makeup may not be a good thing when your fighting a demon. She also wears earrings and other types of jewelry as well.

She also dreams currently right know to be able to graduate college soon even if she just started. She also dreams of being able to tell her friend/crush how she feels about him and hopes that he feels the same about her.

NIGHTMARES

The thing that scares Melinda the most is dying. She is scared of dying because she is afraid that she will die like her aunt Prue by a demon. She is also terrified of spiders because those things are gross with their eight eyes and a ton of hairy legs. Whenever she sees a spider she shudders and makes someone else clean it up.
