"Finally, a day off!" Allie stretched her arms out, smiling to herself. The question was, what was she to do with herself? She doesn't really get much time to herself, working at the police station and all. And, it's not like she has friends. "What are those, again?" An abrupt knocking came at her apartment door, tearing her out of her reverie. "Coming!" She said, though she couldn't imagine that someone was coming to see her, seeing as how the only relationships she maintained were work-related. As she opened the door, a black man stood, suit and tie. This note was left at the front desk for you, Ma'am." Nitalia looked at the man, suspicious. "From who did note come?" She questioned him, curiosity getting the best of her. "Not sure, Ma'am. It was delivered to us, with the request of getting it to a Ms. Blake. You are the only Blake that we're aware of."
She took the note, and without another word, shut the door in the man's face. She isn't exactly a people person. Unfolding the edge of the manilla envelope, she removed the letter. Jeez, whoever this is has some elegant handwriting skills. There was no return address, no name, nothing. The individual was even careful not to expose his or her gender. "Come to the Golden Gate Park. All will be revealed there. -H." What was this about? Could someone know who- or what she was? Her mind began reeling to the point of dizziness. She needed advice, but had no one to go to, no one to speak with. She'd call her mother, but they haven't spoken in years. Magic was no longer a part of her life, and she'd like to keep it that way. She brushed a hand through her feathered hair. "Fine. I'll go...but only to see what's going on."
After dressing herself, she made her way downstairs, into the lobby. "Be safe, Ms. Blake. I hear more horrors of these murders going around, and I'd hate to see a nice girl like you become a victim." Annette was the front desk clerk, and one of the kindest people that Nitalia's ever had the pleasure of meeting. "Oh, we both know, Annette, that I'm not a very nice person." Annette grinned at her, taking it as sarcasm, and bid her goodbye.
As she exited the building, she tugged at her leather jacket, coco in color. It was windier than she had expected. However, she continued on, tracking down her destination. The park was only a couple of blocks away from her place, so she was more than willing to walk there, rather than taking the lazy way and driving. As she approached the edge of the park, she sat down on a bench, awaiting her company's arrival. "Now, let's get to the bottom of this."▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄ ▄ ▄
